A rigorous examination of over 2820 clinical studies were reviewed to help determine the influence of soft-tissue augmentation procedures in relation to peri-implant health. The researchers discussed the importance of keratinized tissue and mucosal thickness and how soft-tissue augmentation procedures can create beneficial gains and improved outcomes in grafted sites.
